Hatch Speech Pathology’s founding director Ocea Morton has 18 + years of experience working with infants and children in hospital, community, education and private practice settings. Ocea values staying up to date with current research in the area of Feeding and Swallowing Intervention, and enjoys working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for her clients and their families. Ocea is empathetic, enjoys a good laugh, and can often be seen with a coffee in hand. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and two young children.

Speech Pathologist, Feeding Therapist CPSP
Claire is a speech pathologist with experience working with children and families in not-for-profit and private practice settings. She developed an interest in feeding therapy through guiding her own child’s feeding development and understands the impact feeding challenges can have on the whole family.
Claire is passionate about using a responsive feeding approach, helping children to develop positive relationships with food, and supporting children to be effective communicators. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and her cavoodle.

Allied Health Assistant – Level 2
Bethany is an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant with a big heart.
She is energetic and passionate Allied Health Assistant, specialising in Speech Therapy, with a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance. With a background in nutrition and a rich tapestry of lived experience, she brings a unique, compassionate approach to supporting clients of all ages, especially little ones, since she’s a big kid at heart herself!
As a mum of three awesome kids, Bethany understands how important it is to feel supported and heard, literally and emotionally. She loves helping children grow their confidence and communication skills through playful, engaging therapy that meets them where they’re at.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her hanging out with her family, at the river or indulging in her not-so-secret obsessions: coffee and chocolate.
